In December 2020 I illustrated the Palaeontological Association’s Virtual Annual Meeting (PalAss20).   

Normally an in-person event, Covid-19 meant that it had to happen online instead and hosted speakers from all around the world and by people at all stages of their career, I illustrated talks, drew portraits of the speakers and had a brilliant time.

I’ve always been interested in the Natural World and found out about Palaeontology in my second year of University when I did a collaborative project with the Oxford University Museum of Natural History. Over the course of the conference I drew 96 portraits and filled about 3 sketchbooks.  

Over the past year I've developed a real enjoyment for illustrating conferences.
